Welcome to the Assessment Selection Tool! This is helpful if you’re not sure which of the Diagnostic Measures (i.e., Diagnostic Measures, Screening Measures or Short Screening Measures) you want to use. After you answer several questions, the tool will provide an assessment recommendation.

NOTE: If students are performing significantly below or well above their present grade level, you may find it more helpful to administer a diagnostic measure from a lower or higher grade.

Click on the grade level you think will be most appropriate. You can obtain copies of the diagnostic materials for a particular grade level from teachers in your building or district who are teaching at that particular grade level.
